Strictly Catching 2010

STRICTLYCATCHING

Our program combines 22 years of professional playing experience, and 41 years of professional instruction experience.
We will prepare young athletes ages 10 and up for a higher level of competition. (age groups 10 to 18).
The program provides advanced catching knowledge and skills.
Evaluation and analysis will be provided by professional and collegiate authorities.
There is a limited enrollment to maintain a high quality of instruction.
4:1 student/instructor ratio.

Athletes will be instructed on:

1. Proper Foot Work
2. Receiving
3. Throwing Mechanics
4. Blocking Mechanics
5. On Field Command (including play calling, bunt coverage, cut and relays)
6. Catchers Specific Strength and Power Training (Nick Panetta CSCS-NCSA)
7. Proper Running Technique and Speed Training

5. Nick Panetta BS, CSCS, NSCA-CPT (Speed and Power Coach)

Dates:

Four consecutive Saturday meetings
2 hours per day= 8 total training hours

First Date: Feb 6th
Middle Saturdays: Feb 13th, 20th
End Date: Feb 27th
8:30 to 10:30 Session 1
11:00 to 1:00 Session 2
Maximum number of athletes per session: 16 (32 total athletes for camp)
